The iRiver H340 - High Data Capacity, Exceptional Quality Sound

By Rebecca Blain

From hard drive space to its chic looks, the iRiver H340 does not disappoint.

The halftone black and silver look is stylish and different, while the impressive color display lets you view your favorite JPG photos and BMP files while on the go.

While its weight, totaling in at 203 grams, is heavier than many of the systems on the market today, there are numerous benefits that surpass similar products that can be bought.

First and foremost, the amount of hard drive space access. Ringing in at 40 gigs, the device has double the space than the regular iPod while sporting the colorful TFT display that rivals that of the iPod Photo. The hard drive space alone, allowing you to listen to over 1,200 hours of your favorite music, makes certain you can carry your complete audio library if you desire it.

If you want something other than your library, it also makes a perfect way of transferring large files between work, school and home.

This iRiver system includes everything that you need in order to start listening to your music immediately. The included iRiver ear buds allow you to take advantage of the high signal to noise ratio on mp3 file types of 90dB on both the right and left side.

The carry case makes certain you can take your player wherever you go. The included software gives you the power to transfer your files efficiently and organize them, while the USB cable and AC adapter let you transfer files and charge the system. The system also includes a standard audio line in cable for your convenience.

In order to be able to make full use of the H340 system, you will need a system that is running Windows XP and a computer equivalent or newer to the Intel Pentium 233 with 64 megs of ram.
