This new Sony Walkman has everything that a music fan needs in order to get the tunes they desire while having a small and stylish casing for it.
Coming in Silver, Black, Pink and Red, the 20gb hard drive operated player makes use of special Sony developed G-Sensor technology in order to prevent damage to the hard drive while you work or play. This helps to allow you to use it more like a traditional Walkman for biking, running and other more active sports.
For students, this special feature gives them the ability to access all of their class work and store it in their backpack without as much fear of inadvertently damaging the unit. Despite the high level of protection the G-Sensor system provides, it is important to note that it does not protect against all types of impact damage. While accidental bouncing should not cause harm to the unit, purposefully throwing it on the floor or dropping it from great heights may surpass the level of protection that is provided.
The Sony Network Walkman NW-HD3, in addition to having a high range of space and durability, is very small. It takes up roughly the same size as a deck of standard playing cards. This lets you easily slide it into your pocket, purse or book bag without it taking up a great deal of space or being uncomfortable.
Included with the NW-HD3 are several software programs to help you make the most of the systems small size and large hard drive space. These programs include the SonicStage Software, ATRAC3 Plus, G-Sensor and Connect. Some of these programs are only available in certain regions.
