The Creative Jukebox Zen NX Mobile Digital Music Player

By Rebecca Blain

One of the more notable digital music players currently on the market is the Creative Jukebox Zen NX.

This device, fully mobile and easy to use, gives owners every tool they need in order to get the most out of their MP3 and WMA music files.

However, there are a few additional uses to the Zen NX mobile player that makes it shoot to the forefront of the mobile music competition.

The presence of a large hard drive, available in either 20 or 30 gb, allows you to store whatever type of files that you want, regardless of whether or not it is a music file or not. The system, designed to act as a storage center for music, is also compatible with every other type of file that you have stored on your hard drive.

The easy navigable file system makes certain that you can locate the one song that you are looking for among the hundreds (or thousands!) of songs on your system. While it does not have the ability to display photos, it can store them so you can easily transfer them to any computer with USB 2.0 or 1.1. As the device acts as a removable drive when plugged into a computer, no drivers are required to use it for most systems.

For advanced features, you will need to install the included program to your computer. The Nomad Jukebox Zen NX is designed for use with Windows 98 SE/ME/2000/XP. If you run a Windows 98 system, you will need to install drives to be able to use the system. These are included with your purchase.

When using the Creative Jukebox NX, you will enjoy up to 14 hours of continuous play with the rechargeable battery included. This lets you go anywhere with your Nomad NX with all of the music you could want.
