EMI music licensing talks falter with Sony: report (Reuters)

US firm Warner Music has joined forces with private equity giant KKR to consider a bid for British music company EMI, which would break the company up, a newspaper reported Sunday.(AFP/File/Carl de Souza)Reuters - EMI Group Ltd is struggling to reach a deal to license its catalog of recordings, with Sony Corp on the verge of pulling out of discussions with the British music company, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday.
