HP Files Trademark for PalmPad Name Ooh, what do we have here? It looks like HP's WebOS-powered tablet is starting to take form as Hewlett-Packard just filed a trademark for the PalmPad name. Now I don't know about you, but the use of the word "Pad" in the name sounds like a dead giveaway to what kind of device HP plans to compete against -- and I don't mean the Lenovo IdeaPad.
